Creating unique objects for the home, with a focus on smooth geometric forms and curves, WVY Wares is my 3D printing brand I’ve been working on since early 2021.

The WVY logo aims to reflect the simple forms used in the design of each object while also allowing it to serve as a “stencil.” This allows for use as a pattern for drainage holes at the bottom of planters - functional branding.

To manufacture these designs I utilize a 3D printing process known as “vase mode” - instead of simply printing layer upon layer, the printer traces a continuous outside contour as it steadily moves up the vertical axis. The result of this technique combined with the wavy ridge designs makes for a very sturdy final product.
